The possibilities are endless...
The two examples below (not for sale) are the types of products that can be made to promote a particular brand, team or company. As you can see from other examples on the site, the 3D photographs can be made using people, vehicles, buildings and scenery. As you can see from the Subaru example below, action shots look especially appealing, and the same techniques could be applied to any objects in motion, as long as the photograph is clear. The possibilities could include:
Sporting players in action;
Group photos such as a football team;
Vehicles from land, sea and air;
Famous landmarks of tourism value.
Do not hesitate to contact me with any ideas you may have.

Subaru WRX Rally Car

This is a fine example of the type of MOTORSPORT merchandise that can be achieved. As you can see, the layering can been able to bring out all details of the actual car, including:
Wheel & tyre details;
Front-end grill indentations;
Holes for the bonnet scoop, roof vent and door handles;
Door mirrors, windscreen wipers and rear wing;
Trail of dirt debris out the side.
Note that the car, especially at the front, is placed significant distance in front of the background, which is edited to extend behind the whole vehicle.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747

Two images of this example are provided, to show the detail of the completed aircraft before it is attached to the foreground/background. The notable features are:
Landing gear/undercarriage details;
Engines placed slightly forward of the wings, and the interior of each is indented;
Flaps & leading edge extensions cut & placed in seperate layers;
Body in six contoured segments (see note below).
As a matter of policy, I attempt at all times to seperate the layers (i.e. make the cuts) along existing edges in the photographed object - for the prior Subaru example - along door edges and divisions in the car's panelling. Sometimes this is not an option, so I may need to decide based on other factors. In the example above, as the 747 fuselage is one streamlined object from foreground to background, I have made arbitrary layer sections while maintaining the contours of the real aircraft. In the real 3D photograph, depending on the light source and direction, these cuts may not be easily visible (see the difference in light effects between the two images).

PRICING:
A product like this is slightly easier to produce than a custom wedding photograph (for example). However for a typical vehicle photograph as shown (12" x 8"), the price will be as follows:
First copy - $295.00
2-5 copies - $185.00ea
6-10 copies - $165.00ea
10 or more copies - $155.00ea
A large proportion of the labour required is spent on computer setup and photo editing. This process only needs to be done once, making any additional copies much quicker to produce. For large quantities, the price decreases even further, as a more efficient production process can be developed.
