Our products are created as a high form of papercraft most similar to Paper Tole, though accurately and professionally reproduced. The works consist of a number of individual segments cut from copies of the original photograph. They are then raised from the background directly over their respective positions in that photo. Variation in the depth of all segments ensures that the finished product (when viewed at arms length) is as close to the real life perspective as practical.

Unlike other forms of 3D images, namely stereoscopic photography, these products require no artificial assistance to view. Though only consisting of horizontal layers, there is sufficient number (anywhere from 10 to 20) to ensure decent realism and perspective. The layered form is an artistic yet realistic representation of the original (not a model), although the detail in some work is very high.

Backgrounds that were hidden behind a foreground object in the original photograph are either edited into the work, or taken from a separate angle shot. This allows the work to retain its character when viewed from different angles with minimised distortion.

Please browse the selection of framed 3D products available, as more information will be given in relation to each photograph used.

Other products that are now available include laser engraved glass and timber, personalised invitation cards for weddings and special events, as well as a general laser cutting service for customised shapes from various materials for DIY craft projects.
